Reindeer Rompin' 2012

Last weekend we were little reindeer rompin' along on a 5K and 1 mile fun run to support our school district's PE department.  Our school represented and it was so much fun to romp!  Just a few lot of pictures for you to enjoy...

Making sure to get some good stretches in before our mile.  Sure glad we did, cuz there would've been some major pulled muscles with our super fast time of 17 minutes 42 seconds.

 The 2 KinderKids and their race facilitator were about 5 minutes in front of us...

 This girl had an injury during the race and still finished strong.  Isn't she the cutest thing ever?!

After the big race, we headed to Breakfast With Santa!  The girls showed Santa some love, we ate some pancakes, and we headed home for showers and naps.

Days of Thankfulness

Just like last year, I decided to  participate in the FB "30 Days of Thankfulness".  Though we all know we should be thankful in all circumstances and every single day of the year, I think it's so fun to really focus on certain people, things, circumstances, etc.  And just in case you don't get to the bottom, I missed 2 or 3 days.  Oops.  So...here are my 27-28 days.  So very thankful for my many blessings.  He IS good!

Day 1 | So thankful for my hubs. He's awesome. Love him.

 

Day 2 | Thankful for my babies. I couldn't ask for more.

 

Day 3 | Thankful for a day to spend together. Word.

 

Day 4 | Thankful for those times when you laugh so hard you can't breathe. I heart laughing that hard. It rocks.

 

Day 5 | Thankful to be Bass Hall bound today with lots of awesome 6 year olds!

 Day 6 | Thankful for my parents. They are loving, funny, and awesome! So thankful for what amazing examples they've been! They truly rock!

 

Day 7 | Thankful for my sistah! She's one of my besties fo sho!(Thankful for Gracie Claire's photobombs too!)

 Day 8 | Thankful for 34 years! Blessed fo sho!! Thank you, sweet friends, for all of the birthday wishes! :)

 

Day 9 | Thankful for birthday date night with my hottie hubs! I'm spoiled just a little. :)

 

Day 10 | Thankful for a frozen yogurt date with these 3 pretties!

Day 11 | Thankful for my church. It's a good one.
 

Day 12 | Thankful that I get to bring these 2 with me to work everyday. Major job perk. PS- I heart getting new school pics. :)

Day 13 | Thankful for a job I love. It doesn't hurt getting sweet little notes like this. 1st graders rock.

Day 14 | Thankful that the girls get a bedtime story from their BigPa tonight. ☺

 

Day 15 | Thankful for B. Just look at these pics...I'd be cray not to be thankful for a friend I can be so ridonculous with. Loves friend. 

 

Day 16 | Thankful for sweet moments like this.

 

Day 17 | Thankful for my Grandma, who is 84 years old today! I love you Grandma! Happy Birthday!!

Day 18 | Thankful for my bestie E! We've laughed hard, cried, and rolled our eyes together...knowing exactly what the other was thinking. Ha! Love you friend!

 Day 19 | Thankful for my "little" brother. Caleb is a wonderful husband, daddy, son, and brother. He's ridiculously good at everything he does. And he's a little crazy...like the rest of us. Love my brother!

Day 20 | Thankful for my brothers and sisters in law. Love them all for so many reasons. They're awesome. 'Nuf said.

 

Day 21: I am very thankful for my in-laws, Mike & Janice Aslin and Carl & MaryLee Alford. I'm thankful that they love me. I love them too! :)

 

Day 22 | Thankful for so much! So thankful that Jesus gave us life by dying for us, for the gifts of my amazing husband and 3 beautiful, precious daughters, for my awesome family who each mean so much to me, and for the friends who bless my life in so many ways. Blessed beyond words!

Give thanks to the Lord, because he is good. His faithful love continues forever.

Day 23 | Thankful for a yummy breakfast with my most favorite people and for coffee.

Day 24 | So thankful for my sweet nephews and nieces! They are all awesome and precious! Love them! Being an aunt rocks.

 

Day 25 | Thankful for these words this morning...

Oh, my God, He will not delay
My refuge and strength always
I will not fear, His promise is true
My God will come through always, always

And these...

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6, 7

 

Day 26 | Thankful for spontaneous dance performances during dinner. :)

Day 27: So completely thankful that God gave me the most fulfilling, wonderful, and important job...being the Mommy of my 3 little ladies.

Day 28 | Thankful for my hubs. Again. Not only is he an awesome hubs...but he's an amazing Daddy, the best brother, son, and friend, he provides for us, has more patience than you can imagine, and he puts up with me. Pretty great, huh?! Love him.

 

So...I didn't finish the last 2 days for some reason, but overall, I think you can see how totally good the Lord has been to me.  He is abundantly good.  And you know what?  Even if I didn't have any of these things to be thankful for...He would STILL be good.  Always.
