Locks of Love

Gracie Claire has been so excited to grow her hair long enough to give to Locks of Love. She COULD NOT wait for tonight...the big night she would get it all chopped off. We are so proud of her for making such an unselfish and giving decision! The pictures pretty much show how excited and proud she was. I have to say...she is gorgeous! Yes, I know she's mine, but seriously! :)

Love it! Yay for Locks of Love!!

Go Tiny Tornadoes Go!!

Gracie Claire's first soccer game was this past Saturday and it was HILARIOUS! She was super excited and loved getting to wear her soccer uniform. We took video of it, which will definitely be worth posting once I get it uploaded to the computer. The first minute of the game consisted of her waving from the spot her coach told her to stand and giving us a big thumbs up, all while her teammates and the other team ran past her chasing after the ball. It was adorable! After that she waved and gave thumbs-up at least a hundred more times! :) She did pretty well chasing after the ball and even kicked it at one point! :) Her friend Sonya scored a goal too, which we were all excited about! After each soccer game, the coach gives out little sticker awards and Gracie Claire was very proud to get the "Best Effort" award! That's my girl!! :)

(L) Ready to go!
(C) Stretching before the game!
(R) So excited...but still willing to pose for a picture! :)

Both teams prayed together before the game! :)

The Sweetest Soccer Ever

Gracie Claire is old enough to play Upwards soccer this year. She is super pumped about it. She has had two practices and her first game is this weekend. She loves that she is getting to play with her friend Sonya too. It is just about the cutest, sweetest thing ever. And yes, we did get her pink shin guards and silver and pink cleats. You know how she loves to make a fashion statement! She was a little disturbed by the bagginess of the shorts when she tried them on, but I assured her that she could wear her own shorts if she wanted to. She did not want to look, "crazy nuts," as she put it. :)

My favorite action shot! :)

(L) I love this! She's doing the every sport pose for, "I need a breather." :) I think this was before she even did anything!
(C) Molly -- Soccer star in the making!
(R) So happy! :)

Easter

It is done. There's no greater love than this. You have overcome the grave.

The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said.
Matthew 28:5-6

Easter With BigPa and Gigi

We went to Easter dinner with my parents today and got to see everyone. It was (and always is) so fun when we all get together. Mom made ham, potato casserole, green beans, slaw, and brownies, not to mention all of the Easter basket treats. And of course we had another Easter egg hunt! :)

Sweeties 1-3 havin' a BLAST!

My Sweet Nephews Sam and Dre and My Precious Niece Cassidy

Our attempt at a group picture...Hmmm, not so much! :)

They were so excited for Peeps! Nothing like sugar coated sugar! :)

Uncle Caleb and Aunt Sandra brought confetti eggs. They loved smashing their Daddy's, BigPa's, and Uncle's heads with them! :)

Such a good sport!

And for one last picture...Molly wore her very first piggy tails today. Sigh... :)

Our Easter Beauties

My heart could seriously explode...I love them so much!!
