Happy Birthday My Sweet Molly!

I know everyone says it, but I CANNOT believe my sweet baby girl is ONE today! Time goes by way too quickly! I have to say, that I cannot imagine our family without our sweet Molly Joy! She fits her name perfectly! She has a personality that radiates pure joy! You can't help but smile when you see her!

She is doing so many new things all at once! She is SO close to being called a walker. She is taking several steps at a time and loves trying to keep up with her sisters. She says Mama, Dada, luhloo (I love you,) and her favorite word, "HI!" The babbling that she does is the cutest thing ever and I know she knows exactly what she's telling us! She loves to dance and she has the best time with her big sisters! We are so thankful for our sweet baby girl and we can't wait to see how she continues to bless everyone who knows her!

Dear Molly,

Mommy can't believe that one year ago today was the very first time I got to hold you in my arms, kiss your sweet little cheeks, and introduce you to the sisters who love you so much! You are so important to our family and I'm so thankful that God saw fit to give you to us! When we gave you the name Molly Joy, we never knew how perfectly you would fit your name! You are a constant source of happiness, smiles, giggles, hugs, kisses, and joy to us! Even when you don't feel good, you ooze joy! Not seeing a smile on your face is so rare! I know God is going to use your sweet, joyful personality to be a huge blessing to others. I can't wait to see the amazing things you'll do to grow His kingdom!

I am so thankful for you! Thank you for showing me that my heart can love three amazing little girls more than I could ever imagine! You made me a Mommy of three! I pray that the many years to come will hold more joy than you could ever imagine! Happy Birthday my precious Molly Joy!

Love you so much,
Mommy

Pretty Princesses

The girls had a blast dressing up for school today! These aren't the costumes they'll be wearing for Halloween, but they were princesses nonetheless!

(L) Camera Shy? I think not! :) (C) Sweet Princess! (R) Best Friends!

Gracie Claire was all about having her picture taken. Sydney...not so much! :)

I HEART this picture! Syd was just a little irritated with her sister! She has that eye roll thing down for sure!

He's An Ironman

Paul has been training for an Ironman 70.3 for what seems like forever now. The weekend of his big race finally got here and he did amazing! Just FYI for those who don't know...an Ironman 70.3 consists of a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike ride, and 13.1 mile run. Yep...I think it's crazy too. But, my hubby loves doing these, and I support him all the way! The races are really exciting! Anyway, the race was in Austin, so we took the opportunity to leave our two littlest girlies with BigPa and Gigi, and we took Gracie Claire with us! She had a blast getting a little time to herself, and she loved cheering her Daddy on! Paul finished with a time of 5 hours, 34 minutes. Amazing! It would taken me 27 hours and 22 minutes! :) I am so proud of him and how committed he is! The most important part, was that he was able to raise some money for the Lance Armstrong Foundation to help raise cancer awareness. Yep, I'm proud! :)

Excited to cheer her Daddy on!

Just finishing his bike ride...

Way to go Babe! You're Awesome!

HOWLLLLL!!!!

We were able to take a little family "staycation" to the Great Wolf Lodge on Labor Day weekend. I would definitely recommend it! Even though I think it would have been a little more fun if the girls were a little older, we still had a blast! The indoor waterpark was AWE--SOME! There was a great area for the little ones. They even had their own waterslides! I'm so thankful we got a little family getaway! It was just what the doctor ordered!

(L) Outside of the entrance...pretty cool!
(R) My 3 Little Chickies in front of the huge clock...this thing came alive with little robotic characters that told a story and sang songs. The girls loved it!

Happy Birthday Dad!

My Dad's birthday was October 2nd and we all got together at the Traildust Steakhouse for a little party. We had a great time and the kids loved dancing with BigPa and having dinner together! I'm so thankful for a Dad who has been such a faithful example of what a Dad should look like. Happy Birthdayd Dad! We all love you so much!

The First Day of School

I am so behind in my blogging it isn't even funny. But, if there are still any readers out there, I thought I'd post about the girls' first day of school. Gracie Claire and Syd go to preschool at our church 2 days per week and they both love it! This was the first year I didn't get to take them *tear* but Paul took them and did a great job taking a few pictures for me to see. He also got them ready and did a pretty good job...surprisingly! :) We did have a "How to Do Your Daughter's Hair" lesson the night before, and I gave him a 3 out of 5 stars...which is pretty good! :) Here are some pics from their first day...
