The Neighborhood Egg Hunt and Huntin' Eggs at The Ranch

We've already done our fair share of Easter Egg Hunts. Our neighborhood had one down at our little park and the school I work at, "The Ranch," had one for staff and their kids. It was lots of fun seeing all of the teachers I work with bring their kids...sadly, I didn't have my camera. :( But we did have it at the neighborhood egg hunt. :)

I love this time of year!!

Chicago

Paul went to Chicago for the "American College of Healthcare Executives" Congress. He was gone for three days, we missed him a ton, but he was able to make lots of contacts, learn a lot, and do some sightseeing. He took a ton of awesome pictures. Here are my favorites...

The 3 Little Ladies

My Molly

Our sweet Molly is 17 months old. Sigh... My baby is turning into a toddler right before my eyes and it's just a little bittersweet. There are so many amazing things about our sweet Molls that I couldn't list every one, but here is a start...
  • You constantly have a smile on your face. You are rarely in a bad mood...ever!
  • You have been walking for 7 months already. You are quick...faster than either of your sisters were.
  • You jabber non-stop and love to sing. My favorite is when you yell "MAMA, MAMA, MAMA, MAMA!" over and over and over again. You also say DaDa, HI, thank you (taintoo,) please (sleaze,) what's that? (usdat,) this (dis,) more (ma, ma,) up, BigPa (buhpuh,) and Gigi (shishi,) and a few more. You also shake your head up and down and back and forth to answer questions.
  • You ADORE your big sisters. You attack them in love and giggle with them non-stop.
  • You can EAT! You eat more than your big sisters combined. For breakfast you'll eat a banana, 2 pieces of cinnamon toast, and a full cup of milk only to be ready for lunch a little while later.
  • Your dancing is one of our favorite things to watch. Any type of music will make you stop and shake your booty, stomp your feet, and giggle.
  • You love to be outside and your newest favorite thing to do is climb the ladder to do down the slide...backwards on your belly, all by yourself.
  • You don't like to sit still, but will gladly cuddle with Daddy and Mommy. You always give big kisses and hugs.
  • You are a great sleeper and always have been. You just recently quit taking 2 naps and are down to 1 LONG (3 hrs.) nap.
  • You are a perfect match for your middle name...JOY! You fill our lives with it everyday!
Love you my sweet Molly Joy!

Spring Break & A Bronco Ride

I have never looked more forward to a Spring Break than I have this year. I love my first graders, but definitely needed some time to be with my family, get some things done, and rest. We planned a few fun things to do, one being the zoo...again, but then scrapped that idea after remembering an attempt to go during Spring Break a couple of years ago. We ended up going to the new Museum of Science and History and to the Botanical Gardens for some pictures. We played a lot and spent lots of quality time together. It was awesome!

The Museum was so fun! They've done a great job of expanding it and making it fun for all ages. We can't wait to go back when all of Fort Worth doesn't decide to go too.

I'm ready to learn mom! :)

SOOO excited!! :)

Posing with the Tortoise

Practicing Our Balance

We spent the least amount of time with the trains...

Water Fun

Sneaky Syd

So much fun!

Their favorite part. Hopefully they'll love grocery shopping this much when they really have to do it! :)

Sydney was especially loving this grocery heaven...notice the full basket.

Time to checkout!

Our Last Stop...Saying Hi to the Dinosaurs!

Our ticket got us into the cowgirl museum next door too. They don't allow photographs, but they do have the bronco ride that gives you a free video you can download to your computer. SO worth it!

Gracie Claire, ever the actress, did not disappoint! :)

Sydney's ride starts out great and then takes a hilarious turn. HILARIOUS! It's hard to see, but towards the end, she starts to get upset and shaking her head. Oh how I love her! :)

Zoo Fun

One Sunday morning in early March, we woke up and decided to head to the zoo spontaneously. We love that we have one of the best zoos just 30 minutes away. It never gets old taking the girls and it's something Paul and I always love to do too.

Some of my favorites...

We always love getting some good animal pictures...
