Sugary Sweet

Molly's been flashin' us some pretty sweet smiles lately. I love it!

Santa's Sweet, Santa's Scary

We took the girls to see Santa today! We took them to Cabela's (one of Paul's very favorite stores) where the girls saw a very cute Santa (for free) and we only waited for maybe ten minutes. They gave us a free picture and we got to use our own camera to take as many pictures as we wanted! Gracie Claire loved seeing the big guy (she thought he was sweet,) Sydney wanted to run away as far as she could (she thought he was scary,) and Molly was indifferent. :) Here are a couple of the pictures from our camera.

Haircuts, Pizza, Dorks

Yes, by the title, I'm sure you can tell you've stumbled upon a random post. There are many things to blog about today...most of them just for fun, but stuff I wanted to remember anyway. Up first...

Pizza With Gigi

The girls love helping their Gigi (my mom) in the kitchen. We all got together Wednesday night to exchange gifts with my sister (Nkere and Sandra couldn't be there...we missed you both) because Gracie and Nkere are going to Florida to be with his side of the family this Christmas. My mom made lots of things to snack on...one of them homemade pizza. The girls were thrilled to be able to help!

I can pose and cook at the same time!

You mean I can't lick each pepperoni before I put it on the pizza!?

Say "Cheese!!"

What was Molly doing during the pizza-making?

Perfect Little Sugar

Dorks

The pictures are pretty much self-explanatory, but I have to say that anytime we all get together, there is always tons of laughing and goofing around. This time...no different. :)

Self-portraits always include many of these...

Funny for the Week

Yesterday after I picked the girls up from school, I was asking Gracie Claire about her day and she immediately started telling me that she got to play Mary and her friend Parker got to be Joseph and Baby Jesus was laying in the hay on the manger. She was thrilled about it and couldn't wait to share her experience with her Daddy, BigPa, and Gigi. We had dinner with my parents (BigPa & Gigi) at their house last night, so she got to tell all three of them about her day while we ate. After dinner, my Dad (BigPa) was playing with the girls on the floor and Gracie Claire said, "Let's play Baby Jesus. I'll be Mary, Sydney can be Joseph, and you be Baby Jesus BigPa!" Now, I know most of you readers know my Dad, but if you don't, here is a picture of the actors who portrayed Baby Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. Interesting way to cast the parts, don't you think?! :)
That's "Mary" on the left, "Joseph" on the right, and "Baby Jesus" in the middle...HA!!

Listen To This...

I stole this from the blog of a person I don't even know. If you've had a baby or you have a Dad (I think this will include most of you readers,) :) then you might want to get a tissue. It's such a sweet song and I loved Hootie when I was in high school, so that makes it even better! I'm not sure how old this song is and if I'm way behind in hearing it, but whatever! Had to share anyway! :)

The song starts at 1:50 if you want to skip to it.

The Most Ridiculous Picture Blog Ever...

For obvious reasons, I've gotten way behind on my blogging and decided that it was time to sit down and go through my over 400 pictures sitting on my camera and blog. This will be a hodge-podge of photos, so if you have the time and care...enjoy!! :o)

BEFORE MOLLY...

Gracie Claire climbed her first tree...

AND BigPa and Gigi (and we went along too) took the girls on a horse riding adventure!

Sydney loved the kitty that lived in the stables!

She couldn't get that cute little grin off of her face!

Gracie Claire loved her new friend, "Popeye!"

Syd wasn't so sure!

Gracie Claire told Popeye what she was going to be for Halloween...seriously! :)

Our Sweet Cowgirl

She LOVED it!

Sydney wasn't a huge fan, but she did warm up to it after a few minutes.

Gracie Claire got toe feed Popeye carrots because he did such a good job!

AFTER MOLLY...

The Many Faces of Our Super Girl

Our Sweet Little Indian Princess

The best picture of the two together. (I was beat down by this point.)

Sydney's Big Girl Bed

After we moved, our Syd started sleeping in her big girl bed! She has done so good! The only hard night was her very first one, but after that she became a pro! I can't believe how big she is getting!!

Bike Riding

We jumped the gun last Christmas and bought a bike for Gracie Claire. She's finally tall enough to ride and SO excited to try, but still a little nervous to pump those pedals by herself.

My Three Girls

Molly's First Bath

Our baby girl experienced her first bath and loved it! If she could smile, she would have! Our big girls loved watching and crowded their Daddy on either side of him. I had to scoot them out of the way to get pictures!

That was great Mommy!
