I love you so much! You are 5 years old today and I can't believe how fast the time has flown by. It seems just like yesterday that they laid you in my arms. You are our spunky girl. You make us laugh. You push your limits. You figure things out for yourself. You are our independent girl. You know exactly how to push Mommy's buttons. You love to play with your sisters and you love to be in charge. You are stubborn. You love really hard. You love to give Mommy eskimo kisses, butterfly kisses, and zerberts. You wake up every morning before 7AM. You love, love, love your blankie. You still suck your thumb...and it doesn't bother me at all. You figure out mechanical things way faster than anyone in our house. You love shoes. You love to change your clothes when you can get away with it. Pink is your favorite color. You love animals and will one day have a fluffy white kitty. I'm pretty sure about that. You have the sweetest little voice. You are compassionate and love to do things for others. You love helping with chores and in the kitchen. You are full of sweetness. Mommy loves how straightforward you are...most of the time. You love Daddy and tend to be drawn more to him. That's OK with Mommy. I still know we have a special connection. You fight hard for what you want. You are so stinkin' smart, it's crazy. There are so many more things that we love about you...these are just the tip of the iceberg.
You love Jesus so much already! You talk about Him and what He would do or say. You love singing praises to Him. You love telling His stories and what you've learned about Him in Bible class. You are so excited about learning His Word and have done great with you memory verses. Daddy and Mommy can't wait to watch as Jesus shapes and molds you into a woman who will do amazing things for Him. We see Jesus shining brightly in you already!
Mommy is so proud of you Sydney Hope. You taught Mommy, 5 years ago, that I had plenty of love in my heart for as many babies as God wanted to give us. You have a special spot in my heart. Thank you for loving me the way you do and for forgiving me when I need forgiveness. You are stinkin' awesome! Happy 5th birthday my sweet, sweet Syd.
